The staff was incredibly helpful, including making change for us when the banks wouldn't due to a strike. They were very personable and even spoke English. The location is great, across the street from a train station and next to a courtyard with seasonal food vendors. We loved drinking the warm gluhwein and sitting outside with the festive lights.

Was here for rammstein concert 31-1th. Clean room and bathroom. Probably the cleanest place I’ve been to this summer. Very helpful and service minded reception- SUPER THANKS for that because I’ve been asking them for help every day and they were super kind and offered me what I asked for and helped with my questions. Also fantastic location just in front of the train station which makes it so convenient. I stayed in 329 and was happy with that room. The pillows were so comfy. It’s located in kind of a labyrinth on 3th floor but everything felt safe and clean.

My second time in this hotel, which means it must be doing many things right. Location is excellent, right next to railway and U-station for easy access to Messe Essen. Easy to visit Christmas market in the evening. Rooms are good, breakfast has more options than what you sometimes see in central Europe. No outside noise, even though my room was in second floor.

The room for 3 adults was very big with 1 double room + 1 single room + sofa , it was more then enough space in the room. Breakfast was very good and delicious , the staff is very friendly

The room was huge ( i booked the 29sq m double one ) , It was very clean and comfort. No noise ( with closed windows ) and the temperature inside the room great . The location was excellent as it is in front ( 100m ) of the Essen main station and our transportation rides were super easy . A plus that at the station there are shops as dm , supermarket and many cafe - breakfast stores. Very friendly staff.

The hotel was lovely and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar staff went above and beyond and really made myself and my husband feel valued. Every night the bartender made me a different Mocktail.

Very nice clean hotel, very close to Essen HBF Railway station, close to town centre, shops etc. Staff were a;; helpful and courteous, Matthias in particular, very nice young man.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel very welcome. I’m so glad I chose to book here. The location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of Essen, making everything so accessible. It was definitely the right choice, and I’ll absolutely be staying here again in the future. Highly recommend it!
